Toxic Drug Supply - Four Suspected Drug Overdose/Poisoning Related Deaths

The Overdose Monitoring Alert and Response System (OMARS) is issuing and Overdose Alert for Waterloo Region. From February 22 to 26 four suspected drug overdose/poisoning related deaths occured in Waterloo Region. One suspected drug overdose/poisoning death was related to red or "red-rainbow" coloured fentanyl. For more information, check the full Community Drug Alert, March 1 2023 release.
