Community Drug Alert - Increase in overdose/drug poisonings

The Overdose Monitoring Alert and Response System (OMARS) is issuing and Overdose Alert for Waterloo Region. There has been an increased number of overdoses/drug poisonings (33 reported cases) from October 21 to 26 and twenty-one cases reported in the last 48 hours.
