Consumption and Treatment Services (formerly called supervised consumption services) provide a safe and clean environment for people to use their own drugs under the care of trained staff. In Ontario, Consumption and Treatment Services must be integrated and offered alongside other health care services and supports including, first aid, client education, sharps disposal, access to sterile needles and other supplies, access to naloxone (medication to temporarily reverse an opioid overdose); and referral to other services.

The CTS site in downtown Kitchener in located at 150 Duke Street West and open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week, including holidays. More information on the supports in addition to supervised consumption that are offered on site can be found here.
